Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia maintains academic cooperation agreements with a large number of institutions to carry out academic exchanges.
These agreements are remarkably essential to allow international students to benefit from the diverse opportunities of academic mobility in our institution.
REQUIREMENTS: Apply from July 15th to October 15th
- Application form
- Learning Agreement for: Semester // Rotations or internship
- Letter of introduction from the university of origin
- Motivation letter explaining the reasons why you want to study at UPCH, including the courses you would take in the exchange semester or internship
- Academic grade record
- Certify the Spanish language through an interview in SKYPE with our faculties
- Copy of valid passport
- International health insurance
- Passport size photograph and white background, with an age no longer than 6 months
- Curriculum Vitae (Maximum 1 sheet)
Only complete files sent by the Office of International Relations of the university of origin of the student will be received within the term of the call. Candidacies will be transferred to the corresponding faculties for their evaluation and acceptance or denial.
The final decision will be communicated to the student and the international relations office of your university via e-mail. If admitted, an official acceptance letter will be sent to begin the visa process.
In the case of international students whose native language is not Spanish, a minimum B1 level is required for the consideration of their candidacy, a level that will be evaluated through an interview during the application process.
UPCH offers several options for teachers, professionals and international students to carry out a training or internship within the UPCH through different networks and collaborations.

The Global Health Peru Program of the School of Public Health and Administration of UPCH offers rotations and experiences in research projects to students of health sciences.
♣ Institute of Tropical Medicine Alexander von Humboldt
IMTAVH, a reference institute in Peru for infectious and tropical diseases, offers rotations and courses for students, doctors, and national and international experts.
♣ Global Health Learning Opportunities (GHLO)+
The GHLO Collaboration facilitates the global mobility of last year's medical students who want an experience outside of their country of origin; you find out here if your institution belongs to this network. UPCH offers 20 clinical rotations in different specialties in the Faculty of Medicine, and the course in infectious diseases by the Institute of Tropical Medicine.
